Latest Update (as of December 28, 2024):
The United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals has reinstated an injunction that suspends the enforcement of FinCEN’s Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting requirements. As a result, the January 13, 2025, deadline is currently on hold. We recommend business owners proceed with filing their BOI reports to avoid future complications if the injunction is lifted.

What information needs to be reported?
- Information about the people who really own or control the business (beneficial owners). This includes their name, address, and date of birth.
What happens if I don’t report?

What should I do?
