Ibtasam (Raj) Mahmood, CFP® CRPC® is an investment advisor with Azzad Asset Management.

He graduated from George Mason University with a degree in decision science and management of information systems.

Raj started a career in finance in 2005 and has gained extensive knowledge in financial planning through his work at PFS Investments, TD Ameritrade, and AMJ Financial. Raj holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.

He earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) professional designation, which is awarded by the College for Financial Planning. His passion is helping people get on the right track to achieve their financial goals.

Raj lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and two children. He enjoys playing golf, watching sports, and spending time with his family.
