FALLS CHURCH, Va., March 14, 2024 — The Azzad Wise Capital Fund (NASDAQ: WISEX), America’s first halal fixed-income mutual fund, has won a Lipper Fund Award in the 3-Year and 5-Year International Income categories for the period ending 12/31/23.
The LSEG Lipper Fund Awards are based on return calculation periods over 36, 60, and 120 months. The highest Lipper Leader for Consistent Return (Effective Return) value within each eligible classification determines the fund classification winner over three, five, or 10 years. This is the Azzad Wise Capital Fund’s third Lipper Fund Award overall and the second year in a row it has received the honor.
Over its history, the Azzad Wise Capital Fund has proven to be a diversification and income-generating tool for investors in search of alternative halal investments and emerging market yield. It is the first Shariah-compliant fixed-income investment option for those who observe the Islamic prohibition on the giving and taking of riba, or interest.
