Azzad Asset Management Named to Best Performing Strategies List for Q1 2025
PSN Top Guns List identifies best-in-class separate accounts, managed accounts, and managed ETF strategies.
Falls Church, Va., 6/3/25– Azzad Asset Management announced today that its Large Cap Growth Portfolio has been awarded the “Top Guns” designation by Informa Financial Intelligence’s PSN manager database, North America’s longest running database of investment managers.
“Q1 2025 presented a fascinating market narrative marked by significant rotation and global shifts. Success demanded adaptability, deep market understanding, and strategic positioning,” says PSN Product Manager Nick Williams. “PSN Top Guns managers demonstrated exceptional skill in navigating these complex dynamics, where value sectors outperformed growth, international markets showed strength, and policy shifts created both challenges and opportunities. Their expertise in reading and responding to these evolving market conditions continues to showcase the enduring value of active management in separately managed accounts.”
PSN Top Guns performance rankings are tabulated for thousands of strategies across 75 peer groups subdivided by increasingly rigorous screens and reported in ascending classes from 1-6 stars, indicating time period. Achieving “Top Guns” status means that the Azzad Large Cap Growth Portfolio was among the top performers within one or more peer groups reporting to PSN for various periods ending March 31, 2025.
In the US Growth Universe, the portfolio earned a 4-, 5-, and 6-Star Ranking. In addition, it earned a 4-Star Ranking in the Large Cap Equity Universe:
4-Star Category: The Large Cap Growth Portfolio had an r-squared of 0.80 or greater relative to the style benchmark for the recent five-year period. Moreover, the strategy’s returns exceeded the style benchmark for the three latest three-year rolling periods. The top ten returns for the latest three-year period then become the 4 Star Top Guns.
5-Star Category: The Large Cap Growth Portfolio had a top 10 return for the latest three-year period, plus an r-squared of 0.80 or greater relative to the style benchmark for the recent five-year period and returns that exceeded the style benchmark for the three latest three-year rolling periods.
